There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing a client arrive with an idea and then watching that idea become a reality.
For this recent bathroom transformation, our clients Jo and Nathan came to Concept Tiles with an inspiration image showing us the look and feel they wanted to achieve.
From that starting point, we worked with them to bring the different elements of their vision together, helping them choose the tiles and finishes that would create the warm, elegant bathroom they had imagined.
The result? A beautifully considered space featuring Stone Project Biscuit porcelain tiles in 600 × 300 mm, 9 mm thickness, complemented by a sand-coloured grout, natural wood and antique brass finishes.
It All Started with an Image
Sometimes the easiest way to explain the look you want is simply to show us.
Jo and Nathan had a clear vision for their new bathroom and brought an inspiration image with them when they came to Concept Tiles.
That image became the starting point for the project.
By looking at the colours, textures and overall feeling they were drawn to, we were able to help translate their inspiration into choices that would work beautifully within their own home.
It's exactly the kind of process we love at Concept Tiles — taking an idea, photograph, mood board or even a simple colour swatch and helping our clients turn it into something tangible.
Warm, Natural Tones
The soft neutral colouring of Stone Project Biscuit was a fantastic choice for the scheme.
Rather than opting for a cooler grey or white, the warmer Biscuit tone gives the bathroom a softer, more welcoming appearance.
Pairing the tiles with a sand-coloured grout creates a beautifully cohesive finish, allowing the natural stone-inspired colour and texture of the tiled surfaces to take centre stage.
The Perfect Partner for Natural Wood
One of our favourite elements of this transformation is the combination of the Stone Project Biscuit tiles with Jo and Nathan's wooden vanity unit.
The natural warmth of the timber sits beautifully alongside the Biscuit tones, adding depth and character without overpowering the room.
It's a lovely example of how porcelain with a natural stone appearance can be paired with other organic-looking materials to create an interior that feels considered and timeless.
Finished with Antique Brass
The scheme was completed with beautiful antique brass accessories and fittings, bringing another layer of warmth to the bathroom.
Against the subtle Stone Project Biscuit backdrop, the brass details really stand out while still feeling completely at home within the overall colour palette.
Together, the Biscuit porcelain, sand-coloured grout, natural wood and antique brass create a bathroom that feels elegant and luxurious without being overly formal.
From Vision to Reality
Perhaps the best way to describe this transformation is in Jo and Nathan's own words:
“We had a vision and the Team at Concept Tiles turned this into reality. We couldn't be happier with our new space.”
— Jo & Nathan, Concept Tiles Clients
For us, that's what makes projects like this so rewarding.
The journey began with one inspiration image and an idea of how Jo and Nathan wanted their new bathroom to feel. Seeing that initial vision translated into their finished space is exactly what our personal approach at Concept Tiles is all about.
